Meet Boaz!……

Our new to be guardian sheep dog (50% Pyrenees, 50% Maremma). Purchased from our friend BJ Arvidsson.  A good day for the sheep and a not so good day for the coyotes!

This is a first for our sheep.  So we are starting out in a pen with some younger ewe lambs.  Eventually we’ll introduce him to the rest of the flock as he grows (less chance of being bunted by the older ewes or hurt by the llamas).
