Our new to be guardian sheepdog Boaz (meaning strength is within him). He is 50% Pyrenees and 50% Maremma. We purchased him from our friend BJ Arvidsson. A good day for the sheep and not so good day for the coyotes!

You can train Boaz to know your borders. We once had a Great Pyrenees dig. Called him Czar. He knew his herd.

Yes, as he gets older, I will have to walk the property with him. Also get him accustomed to our other dogs and the cats.
